"Rocks" is about losing love and finding a way to get through that grief. This thesis animation had been my first attempt at sound design for animation. I enjoyed working with director and animator, Xuting Liu. Xuting and I constantly collaborated throughout the making of "Rocks" to ensure its soundscape would reflect the tone and perspectives in the piece.
*Update* "Rocks" has completed its festival run. The short film had been a finalist twice, selected for two, and won 5 awards. Including Best Animation at the Paris Independent Film Awards!
